After opening night at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, the Berkshire Eagle shared high praises for the company debut.
The Oregonian turned its attention to our stunning Jacob’s Pillow debut performances and looked forward to NW Dance Project’s exciting 14th season, noting “At The Pillow, the company’s performances went “from dark to light,” Tatge said, ending with Slipper’s “MemoryHouse,” performed in a venue with a rear door opening to the outdoors. At the climax, dancers Andrea Parson and Franco Nieto spun out the back door and embraced. A bird flew by, and the sun, which had played hide-and-seek all day, broke through the clouds as Parson and Nieto kissed. The audience gasped.”
