Fabrice Lemire

Fabrice Lemire, Artistic Director of Cirque du Soleil’s TORUK – The First Flight, which makes it Portland premiere at the Moda Center December 7, will teach a special ballet workshop on December 9 at NW Dance Project. This event marks a homecoming for Fabrice, who was a Principal Dancer with Oregon Ballet Theatre from 1993 to 1996 before going on to work with numerous prominent dance companies around the world. Since joining Cirque du Soleil in 2008 as Dance Master and Assistant Artistic Director of the resident production of “ZAiA” in Macau, he has served as Artistic Director for Quidam, VAREKAI, and now with TORUK – The Final Flight.

Fabrice will be joined by his former Oregon Ballet Theatre partner and NW Dance Project ballet instructor, Tracy Julius, for this special open ballet class.
