Kim is originally from Eugene, Oregon where she fell in love with dancing at a young age. Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts in dance from the University or Oregon in 2014. She spent her time in Eugene performing in multiple choreographic works, teaching, and touring with the University of Oregon Repertory Dance Company as a lighting designer. Kim was chosen to perform and represent UO’s dance department at the American College Dance Festival in Missoula, MT. Summer of 2014, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training program at Zenspot in Eugene, OR.
Her continued studies include attending the Winter American Dance Festival Intensive, Joe Goode’s summer dance intensive, studying the gaga movement language at the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv, Israel, and participating in Fly Co.; AWOL dance collective’s pre-professional aerial training program.
She is currently performing with AWOL Dance Collective, and teaching classes in and around Portland.
