Junior Dance Intensive
August 13 - 24 / 2018
NW Dance Project’s Summer Programs offer exceptional weekly curriculum. Dancers will experience the joy of dance taught by Portland’s finest teachers. With an open and inclusive environment that values the creative process, our classes develop technique, coordination, flexibility, balance, individual expression, spatial awareness, strength, and group cooperation skills.
Our Junior Dance Intensive is geared for more advanced dancers interested in a comprehensive curriculum of techniques, discipline and styles of dance in preparation for NW Dance Project’s Youth Professional Training Program starting SEP 10 / 2018.
The Junior Dance Intensive provides in-depth classes in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary Jazz, Hip Hop, Improvisation, and Choreography.
Dancers will work with NW Dance Project’s extraordinary faculty of teachers as they are mentored to push and develop their creativity, ideas and versatility . A showcase of choreography and techniques learned will be performed for family and friends on the final day of our Junior Dance Intensive.
