With the health and safety of our artists, students, audiences, patrons, and staff as our first priority, NW Dance Project remains responsive to the changing conditions surrounding the spread of COVID-19.

NW Dance Project has suspended all public operations. Our administrative team members are working remotely.

The below information regarding NW Dance Project’s changes in operations and events, as well as our responses to the COVID-19 outbreak will be updated as needed and as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this most challenging time and urge everyone to follow all appropriate health and safety protocols.

Gala: Our March 28 “Spring Gala” has been postponed. Ticket holders have been contacted with information and options. If you purchased tickets and have not heard from us, please email us or call 503.828.8285 and Scott will help you.

Adult + Youth Fall Classes: All classes will be held in person and virtually on Zoom starting SEPT 14. In person class spots will be limited to 9 students. Registration and details HERE.

Studio Health + Safety Procedures

-A staff member will take your temperature outside and let you into the building no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the start of class.

-Parents/guardians are not allowed in the building and should call the studio if they need to reach their student while in class.

-Student’s must be fully ready for class, dressed appropriately, before entering the building. Changing areas are not available.

-Once you enter the lobby, dancers must immediately wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the studio.

-Masks must be worn at all times.

-Bring your own water bottle. Disposable cups are unavailable.

-Restroom use will be limited to one student at a time.

-Studio is stocked with hand sanitizer, gloves, and disposable paper masks.

-We ask student to exit the building as soon as class is completed.

-Rigorous and regular studio, equipment and facility sanitation.


Our “The Rite of Spring” show scheduled for APR 23-25, as well as our “Summer Splendors” show scheduled for JUN 11-13, 2020 were sadly canceled by decree.

Ticket-holders were contacted via email and asked to choose from the following two options:
1. Allow us to enter your purchase price as a tax-deductible charitable donation (receipts mailed in July).
2. Opt to receive a ticketing credit for a future show TBD.

Please understand that as many of the costs of any production occur well before the curtain rises, cash refunds are not practical.
