Brendan Evans

Brendan Evans was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and found his love for contemporary dance while training at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts under Jiří Kylián repetiteur, Fiona Lummis. He graduated in 2020 with a BFA from the University of Southern California’s Glorya Kaufman School of Dance under the direction of William Forsythe and Jodie Gates. While training at USC and international intensives like Nederlands Dans Theatre, The School at Jacob’s Pillow, and Springboard Danse Montréal, Brendan performed works by William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Fernando Melo, and Barak Marshall. He has performed at Music and More Summerfest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Los Angeles Art Show, the Joyce Theater, and is a member of the National YoungArts Foundation. After graduation, Brendan helped to create a kindergarten through fifth grade dance curriculum taught across Pasadena Unified School District. Brendan is looking forward to his first season with NW Dance Project.
