Bryan Solante has been dancing since 2012 and has been training at Element Dance Studio ever since. When he first started breakdancing, he learned his foundations from Brian “Mightymoves”, Levi, and Steez from DefCon5. And for Hip Hop, he thanks Don Flores, Charlie Chheath, Jesus Rodales, and Lauren Flores. He has been in many competing companies for Element and has even won the Spotlight Dance Cup Pacific Northwest Nationals with his duo partner, Sarah Headley. He participates in many breakdance and all-style battles. He also takes classes, conventions, and workshops in Oregon and Washington. When he is not at the studio, he engages in many dance sessions to practice individually and does a lot of schoolwork. His influences leading to dancing were watching the Jabbawockeez, the first season champions of the show America’s Best Dance Crew. Other influences include Keone Madrid, GRV, Sorah Yang, Choreo Cookies, Megan Batoon, Mos Wanted Crew, Academy of Villains, The Company, Knuckleheads Cali, Vinh Nguyen, the Connection, and of course, all of the instructors at the studio. Besides dance, Bryan has also taken part in many academic courses and strives to become an engineer. After someone told him “If you apply your work ethic for dance in everything else, you will become successful in everything you do”, he has continued to carry that belief. His goal is to become an extraordinary dancer with a high degree of education and to pass down the knowledge he has achieved.
