Emma is a Merit Scholar graduate of the University of Iowa, where she earned degrees in Dance, Theatre and French. She completed a yearlong intensive ballet training program at the Conservatory Pau-Béarn-Pyrénées in France and performed professionally with the Opera Festival of the Aegean in Greece and modern and contemporary ballet companies in France and New York City.
With more than 15 years of teaching experience, Emma has taught ballet, contemporary ballet, modern dance, and creative movement to students ages 4–18 in both conservatory and holistic educational settings, including National Dance Academy, Taos Youth Ballet, Our Lady of Malibu School, and MUSE Global School. As the founder and director of Malibu Academy of Performing Arts, she led the school for seven years in Malibu, CQ.
Emma is also a UCLA-trained Social Emotional Arts (SEA) Facilitator, having completed the UCLArts & Healing Certificate Program in Social Emotional Arts in 2021.
