JA Collective

JA Collective, founded by Los Angeles–born artists Jordan Johnson and Aidan Carberry, is a creative duo known for their captivating choreography, blending a wide range of dance forms across theater and film. They have built a signature style that blurs the line between art and reality, combining intricate movement, storytelling, and raw human connection. They first gained widespread attention through their direction and choreography for the band half•alive, whose visually striking music videos have garnered millions of views online. Beyond that, their commercial work includes collaborations with major artists such as Talking Heads, Doja Cat, Future, Paul McCartney, Frank Ocean, Reggie Watts, Margaret Qualley, Mike Mills, Taika Waititi, and Brockhampton, as well as global brands like Apple, Allstate, Snapchat, and Pull and Bear. Their choreography has received accolades at RIDCC, MasDanza, Palm Desert Choreography Festival and Hannover Festival. JA Collective has made works for dance companies such as Ballet X, Club Guy and Roni, and Universities such as USC and LMU. In addition to their choreographic projects, Jordan and Aidan tour internationally as dancers in William Forsythe’s “Friends of Forsythe.”
