Jayden Christian Williams is a dance artist originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He discovered his joy for dance at DeVore Dance Center in Hollis, Queens, under Carolyn DeVore. A graduate of LaGuardia High School, Jayden trained with the French Academie of Ballet and received scholarships to train with Ballet Hispánico, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Movement Invention Project.
In 2018, Jayden joined MOVE|NYC|’s Young Professionals Program under the direction of Nigel Campbell and Chanel DaSilva, expanding his artistic vision and connection to community. He earned his BFA in Dance from Point Park University in 2025 under the direction of Garfield Lemonius. That same year, he joined A.I.M by Kyle Abraham during the company’s 20th Anniversary Season.
Jayden has performed works by Kyle Abraham, Jermaine Spivey, Jae Man Joo, Martha Nichols, Penny Saunders, Paul Taylor, Juel D. Lane, Rennie Harris, and Roderick George. He is thrilled to join NW Dance Project this season and continue growing through curiosity, collaboration, energy, and storytelling
