NW Dance Project is dedicated to the creation and performance of
innovative, new contemporary dance works from established and emerging
dance makers created in an open and artistically stimulating
environment. We seek experienced soloist dancers interested in a diverse
collaborative environment that focuses on the innovation and creation
of contemporary dance. Artists should have a strong classical and
contemporary background, professional performance experience, and
passion for the creative process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dancers should have a minimum of 3 years of professional company experience.
Preference will be given to mid-career professional dancers.
BIPOC dancers are encouraged to apply.
Dancers must be legally able to work (be a US citizen, permanent resident or currently hold O-1 work visa) in the USA to be considered. We are unable to sponsor visas for foreign workers.

Dancers will be selected through a pre-application process. Each application will be reviewed on a rotating basis.
Dancers can apply to attend MOVE as an audition for NW Dance Project's open company positions. Our MOVE project offers an opportunity for you to be seen by our Artistic Director Sarah Slipper in an intimate company environment (15 dancers) creating 2 new works with Guest Choreographers Nicole von Arx and Ethan Colangelo.
Please only apply if you can attend the MOVE project from JUL 2 to JUL 12. There will be no private auditions offered at this time.
