NW Dance Project is dedicated to the creation and performance of
innovative, new contemporary dance works from established and emerging
dance makers created in an open and artistically stimulating
environment. We seek experienced soloist dancers interested in a diverse
collaborative environment that focuses on the innovation and creation
of contemporary dance. Artists should have a strong classical and
contemporary background, professional performance experience, and
passion for the creative process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dancers should have a minimum of 3 years of professional company experience.
Preference will be given to mid-career professional dancers.
BIPOC dancers are encouraged to apply.
Dancers must be legally able to work (be a US citizen, permanent resident or currently hold O-1 work visa) in the USA to be considered. We are unable to sponsor visas for foreign workers.

Dancers will be selected through a pre-application process. Each application will be reviewed on a rotating basis.
Candidates will be selected to audition by INVITATION ONLY and will be contacted via email if selected. Selected candidates will be notified no later than DEC 16 / 2024.
AUDITION DATES
PORTLAND - JAN 5 / 2025 (dancers invited to Portland audition may be interested in attending our Company Repertoire Workshop - JAN 2 to 4 / 2025)
NEW YORK - JAN 25 + 26 / 2025 (dancers must attend both days to be considered)
