Anton Rudakov

Anton Rudakov was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He received his dance education at the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Upon graduation in 2000, he was offered an engagement at the Boris Eifmann Ballet Company St. Petersburg. In 2002 he joined Aalto Ballet Theater in Essen, Germany. He has danced works of many choreographers of contemporary as well as classical repertoire, including Boris Eifmann, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Heinz Spoerli, Christian Spuck, Jiri Kylian, Alexander Ekman, Crystal Pite, Tim Plegge, and Stephan Thoss. Since the beginning of the 2007 season, he has been a member of the Hessen State Theatre in Wiesbaden. During his last season there, he participated in several International Competitions for choreographers and won several awards. In October 2015, Anton began his master’s degree in Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg.
