Canadian-born choreographer Kristen Céré has been in the international dance scene for over 15 years. As an interpretive artist, she has worked with internationally-renowned choreographers including Jirí Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Hans Van Manen, Alexander Ekman, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon with the Nederlands Dans Theater (Holland), Tanz Graz (Austria), and others as a freelance artist. She has choreographed works for companies and festivals such as Dresden SemperOper Ballet in Germany, Korzo Theater in Holland, Festival Quartiers Danses in Canada, Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden in Germany, and Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal in Canada as a solo choreographer as well as with her collaborating artist, Francois Chirpaz. Kristen was awarded 1st prize at the 12th annual Masdanza International Choreography Competition for Elmer, a work made in collaboration with Francois Chirpaz.
